Remolis Program for "Ojek Online"

SGPM, known for its wholesale and sales of electric motorcycles, now ventures into electric motorcycle rental services, starting from October 2023. Currently, SGPM is conducting a Proof of Concept (PoC) primarily with Gojek and Grab drivers, with 113 online drivers already renting vehicles in Makassar City by the end of November. The rental unit price stands at 35,000 Rp per day, ensuring affordability for drivers and promoting the adoption of electric motorcycles without financial strain.

In the future, SGPM targets to rent out a total of 3,000 vehicles for online drivers, contributing significantly to carbon neutrality in the East Indonesia region.

Moreover, SGPM has collaborated with PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN) to promote charging infrastructure. Following a memorandum of understanding signed on December 12, 2023, SGPM installed the first battery exchange station in Mataram City, Lombok Island, West Nusa Tenggara Province. This initiative aims to reduce CO2 emissions by lending motorcycles to PLN-owned businesses and operating battery exchange stations. Additionally, SGPM, in partnership with local dealers, is establishing a sales network and maintenance service system for electric motorcycles, addressing user concerns during the transition from internal combustion to electric vehicles.

With approximately 300 Smoot electric bikes already in use in the East Indonesia region, SGPM expands its business footprint in Makassar, Mataram, and Manado cities, with plans to extend to other major cities. By providing environmentally friendly electric bikes and expanding battery swap stations, SGPM remains committed to realizing a carbon-neutral society
